I have a very sweet tooth and can put on weight just by looking at a cake. There’s a voice in my head that is constantly chanting ‘EAT. EAT. EAT. EAT.’ More often than not, it’s chanting ‘EAT CAKE. EAT CAKE. EAT CAKE!’. I try hard not to succumb to the urge to satisfy my cravings because afterwards there’s a taunting voice chanting ‘FATTY, FATTY, FATTY’. Sometimes I wish I could just have a great wedge of deliciously moist cake and not feel guilty!
I love that cartoon! ❤
PS: there are some cakes that aren't that bad for you…really! I started making one a while back and have since made it at least 8 more times, and it qualifies as being somewhat healthy. I didn't want to sabotage your blog space with a link, but feel free to contact me if you'd like the recipe =0)
In the meantime, can I just say I love the "big hair metamorphosis" of it all 😉
Thanks for your comment. I’d definitely like to see your recipe! Is there a link? I so, feel free to post it here! Must try it 🙂
Thanks for the go-ahead. I hope you love it!

Hey, that reminds me… it’s time to make another one 😉
…oh man, I can empathise…the voice in my head screams “PIES & CAKE”…..speaking of which …it must be time for a snack….
chocolate, biscuits, crisps, granola bars, boiled sweets, liquorice, apple crumble…*sigh*
…bacon, bacon, bacon….dare we go on?….
You have that voice too? I’m pretty sure I could tolerate invasive open-heart surgery without anaesthetic if they just brought me a big pile of chocolate I could tuck on throughout.
I would choose chocolate cake from the shelf! 😛
The only way to get it out of your system is to eat lots and lots of cake! At least that is what the bakeries would say.
Historical fact: this is what lead Marie Antionette to utter the words, “let them eat cake.”
Yes let them!
